Dear all Club Members,
We just wanted to keep in touch to let you know what’s happening behind the scenes. We are keeping up to date with government guidelines, and with BBNZ/BBO planning for the basketball season this year. Currently there is still the plan that a season will go ahead this year after restrictions are lifted. We will endeavour to share as much information with you as soon as we receive it ourselves.
For a lot of you we realise this may have changed your plans for this year, it may have stopped travel, could have affected your employment, and also your studies. As a club we want to still field as many teams as possible and support the future of club competition. Therefore we please ask you to let us know if:
- You are now going to be staying in Dunedin and are interested in joining a team
- Your circumstances have changed/are no longer in Dunedin and will not be proceeding with the club ball this year
We need to know this information to make sure we have enough players to field the teams we have registered in the competition, and also for the allocation of uniforms.
